Global Missions

God’s world is one world. We are all God’s children and as such, we must treat each other with love and compassion. That love can come in many forms; helping to feed the hungry, providing education for children, caring for the sick and providing spiritual guidance to help more of the world’s people know God’s love. Providence United Methodist Church is involved with missions in several areas of the world.

The Global Missions Committee prayerfully determines how to use the funds entrusted to us for global missions. Informing the congregation about each mission, while encouraging participation, is also the responsibility of this committee. There are many ways to help support global missions that does not require travel. Please contact our Director of Missions, Carol Shinn, to learn more about Global Missions.
