Jamie and Holle Wollin - Serving in CambodiaThe Wollins are members of Providence UMC who have been appointed by The Mission Society to serve in the country where God first captured their hearts for cross-cultural mission.
Holle will train and disciple Cambodian teachers and develop a Christian values curriculum for a Cambodian preschool program that serves non-Christians. Jamie will help establish an English training center for high school and undergraduate students. He will mentor Cambodian ESL teachers, growing them in their professional skills and discipling them to reach the Cambodian people for Christ. The Wollins serve to empower Cambodian Christians to utilize their gifts and skills in business and education to see Cambodians come to know and follow Jesus Christ as Lord.
Women and children are often vulnerable to human trafficking in Cambodia. The Wollins will focus on prevention through quality education and sustainable Christian business. It is Jamie and Holle’s desire to see the Gospel transform families and communities. The Wollin family will reside initially in Phnom Penh, with a goal of moving to a more under-reached area.
