ANNOUNCEMENTS

Got Stuff?

At Providence UMC, we strive to be good stewards of all that God has given us.  Rather than throw away our household items, we donate them to one or more of our missions.

If you have a heart for foreign missions, please consider donating your treasures to our annual Haiti Attic Sale that benefits our Haiti School of Mercy, the Haiti Microcredit Program, and The Haiti Mission (medical).

WE WILL BEGIN COLLECTIONS IN JANUARY, 2015.

Prayer Ministry

"Whatever you ask in prayer with faith, you will receive."
 - Matthew 21:22

Providence UMC partners with several missionaries and at their request, we offer specific prayers each week.  For our missionaries we ask that you pray for respect for refugees and immigrant communities, an end to violence, continued financial support of specific programs, successful language learning, continued alliance with agencies in their respective communities, good health, travel mercies, the healthy growth of the church across the globe, ecological renewal, and most importantly, the Lord's guidance and wisdom.

ONGOING COLLECTIONS:
Clothing and Household Items

Benefits Crisis Assistance Ministries.  Take your donations to the white cabinet in the Catacombs (basement).

Non-Perishable Food

Benefits Loaves and Fishes.  Place your donations inside the bench by our Parlor. Thanks to our Providence UMC Weekday School families for their ongoing support of Loaves and Fishes!

Toiletries (Hotel and Full Sized)
