Servant Ministries
responding to God's call through service |
|
The role of the Servant Ministries Committee is to help church members connect to the various service opportunities both inside and outside Providence United Methodist Church. In a large church, being involved in small groups and service activities helps establish bonds and relationships important for connectedness and fellowship. Take a look at the opportunities listed below; you’ll see there is something for every one. Having difficulty deciding where you fit in? Our S.H.A.P.E. Class (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience) will help you discover how God has created you specifically to fill the many needs in our world. You are important! These classes are offered throughout the year and take very little time. For information about any programs listed below, or the S.H.A.P.E. classes, contact: Carol Shinn, PUMC Coordinator of Servant Ministries, at cshinn@providenceumc.org or 704-714-9365.
