Youth Ministries

Middle & High School

PUMC has an awesome youth program! There are a number of retreats to the mountains and beaches throughout the year for renewal, fellowship and spiritual growth, including our Garden City Beach Retreat, where approximately 120 youth and leaders participate.

Our youth enjoy outreach and missions both around the corner and many miles away. Each summer, the youth engage in several projects, which include leading a Vacation Bible School, working in inner-city Atlanta, and repairing substandard housing in counties surrounding Charlotte. The Providence Pumpkin Patch has become an annual opportunity for fall fellowship with all proceeds funding service projects and special youth programs.

The youth choir and youth hand bell choir provide opporutnities to participate in worship services. A liturgical dance team adds beauty and meaning to the worship experience. Providence also sponsors basketball teams for boys & girls, as well as a very active Girl Scout, Boy Scout and Cub Scout organization.
