The Mission of PUMCWS is to communicate God's love, as it is revealed through Jesus Christ, to children by providing an environment that encourages each child to grow spiritually, socially, cognitively, physically and emotionally. We are a Christian program, but we do acknowledge and respect the different religions and cultures represented in the program. In keeping with the United Methodist Church, we also promote an "Open Minds, Open Heart, and Open Doors" policy.

Our Goal is to seek to provide a developmentally appropriate environment where the children of our school can grow and learn. Our curriculum provides experiences in language, science, music, art, dramatic play, math and Biblical concepts. We encourage the development of motor skills, social skills and self-help skills.

Our Philosophy is that children learn best through play. We seek to provide activities developmentally appropriate for each age level. These activities are designed to teach the skills the children need to be successful.
