Cub Scout Pack 11 is made up of boys 1st – 5th grade and meets on Tuesday evenings (2nd grade on Sunday afternoons). The Pack is made up of families from within our church as well as the communityand we are a diverse group of families.
Service to others is one of the core values of the program. Camping and outdoor activities are a big part of our program. We camp as a group at least three times a year to allow the boys to experience the magic and beauty of God’s creation.

Boy Scout Troop 11 continues to be a strong and active Troop in the Mecklenburg County Council. Boy-led, the Troop strives to develop leaders as the boys organize and lead activities for the Troop. This past year marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. Scouting in Mecklenburg County enjoys a long and rich history with Troops dating to 1913.
The primary fund raiser for the Troop is our annual barbeque every March. Over the years PUMC has been an enthusiastic supporter of this event.
Scouting makes possible wonderful opportunities for adventure and service, teaches lifelong values, and is instrumental in developing tomorrow’s leaders. Boy Scout Troop 11 at Providence meets every Monday night at 7pm.
