PUMC Youth Ministry Vision
To build up the Body of Christ.

Our Purpose
grounded in the Great Commission from Jesus Christ to his Disciples, is to SHARE God’s love by creating an environment that SURROUNDS youth with encouragement and understanding, to then SEND them forth empowered and equipped as Disciples of Christ.

Student Leader Information

Student Leaders should maintain a high attendance level in Sunday school and UMYF, set an example for the others at all times, study scripture and maintain an active prayer life. Youth who fill called to serve at a deeper level of commitment, as a Student Leader should do the following:

• Complete a Serving Covenant
• Obtain a Recommendation from a member of the Youth Ministry Team
• Attend and participate in a SHAPE inventory class

Youth Advisory Board (YAB)

The Youth Ministry at PUMC has a long history of developing leaders among our youth. The Youth Advisory board has been created to engage in our PURPOSE. The YAB shall serve to advise the Ministry Team for programming, projects, and events, while learning leadership skills grounded in Scripture. For more information, please contact Teresa Dunn.
