As followers of Jesus Christ, we’re called to be disciples. But what exactly does it mean to be a “disciple” in The United Methodist Church? Pastor Randy will be facilitating a study of James Harnish’s book, A Disciple’s Path, which answers this question based on the five-part membership vow made by persons joining the UMC – to participate faithfully in the church’s ministries by one’s prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. If you’re a new member of Providence, or if you’re thinking about joining, or if you’ve been a member for years and would like a refresher on discipleship, this study is for you!
Sessions will be on Thursdays at 6:30 PM beginning February 26 and will run for six-weeks through Holy Week. The sessions will be about two hours in length and will be by Zoom. There’s a daily workbook at a cost of $15 to be ordered through the church when one registers. Click HERE to register and order the workbook.
If you have any questions about the study, you’re welcome to email Pastor Randy HERE.
