Can you picture Providence in 2031?

It invites every generation in our congregation to share feedback, engage in active conversation, and think creatively as we Reimagine Tomorrow for our church. Rooted in Faith, we will join together to seek God’s direction for our church’s bold and vibrant future.

Fall 2026 Book Study: Jesus Wants to Save Christians

Jesus Wants to Save Christians: A Six-Week Book Study

What if the story of Jesus is bigger than we thought?

Beginning Tuesday, October 6, from 6:00–7:00 p.m., we will gather for a six-week book study of Jesus Wants to Save Christians: Learning to Read a Dangerous Book by Rob Bell and Don Golden.

In this provocative and engaging book, Bell and Golden invite us to read the Bible as one unfolding story—from the Exodus and the prophets to Jesus and the early church. Along the way, they ask challenging questions about what it means to be saved, what Jesus came to save us from, and what it means for the church to live as God's people in the world.

This won't be simply a discussion of a book. Together, we'll explore Scripture, ask honest questions, and consider how the biblical story shapes the way we follow Jesus today.

Tuesdays, October 6–November 10
6:00–7:00 p.m.
Book: Jesus Wants to Save Christians by Rob Bell and Don Golden

Come ready to read, question, listen, and perhaps see a familiar story in a new way.
