Join Providence UMC in supporting CMS students with just one hour per week! Students across CLT schools eagerly await volunteer tutors for the 2026/27 school year! Heart Math Tutoring supports volunteers as tutors to work one-on-one with elementary students to build foundational math skills (counting, adding to 10) and confidence. With the support of an on-site coordinator, volunteers use an easy-to-follow, proven curriculum featuring hands-on activities and games. Volunteers work with the same student(s) all year building a relationship and strengthening skills. Sign up to volunteer at heartmathtutoring.org/volunteers/become-a-volunteer/and select your school, day and time to get started!
We are “on mission” when we reach across the street to make God’s love so real to those experiencing a crisis that it radically gives hope in a difficult situation. Thank you to those who continue to contribute to our ongoing partnership with Crisis Assistance Ministry. We’ve give over $1000 EACH MONTH to assist with utilities and rent.
On Sunday, October 18, we will host a Rise Against Hunger (RAH) meal packaging event! RAH is an organization that addresses those in immediate need of food and responds to global natural and man-made crises, including droughts, floods, conflict zones, and transitioning political situations. It will be held in the Mission Center and will start at noon, right after our worship services. Not only is this event great for individuals, but it is also great for the entire family.
More details and a registration link will be provided soon!
