Annual Conference concluded last Sunday morning, and Bishop Ken Carter officially “fixed the appointments” for the coming year. Among those appointments was the Rev. Steve Autrey, who has been appointed as the next Senior Pastor of Providence UMC, effective July 1. Steve’s first day in the office will be Monday, July 6, as set by the Conference, and he will preach on Sunday, July 12.

We look forward to warmly welcoming Steve, his wife Marcy, and their daughters, Elizabeth and Maggie, into the life of the church. Steve is a gifted and faithful pastor who is widely respected throughout the Conference.
