In addition to the United Methodist Women, PUMC will also celebrate UMCOR this Sunday, March 15. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) brings God’s hope, healing and humanitarian aid to all whose lives have been disrupted by war, conflict or natural disaster. Today’s UMCOR Sunday special offering underwrites UMCOR’s “cost of doing business” making it possible for UMCOR to focus on responding to communities and individuals when they need immediate assistance and preserving the promise that 100% of any donation to a specific UMCOR project will go towards that project and not administrative cost.
