A Christian-based residential recovery for men and women struggling with the disease of addiction. The DOVE’S NEST is an opportunity to help prepare and serve a meal on the second Monday of each month from 11am-1pm. EMAIL Elaine Foster to help serve. REBOUND prepares and serves breakfast the 2nd Monday of each month from 5:30am-7am. EMAIL Sam Moran to help serve.

Formerly known as Urban Ministry Center and Men’s Shelter of Charlotte, the newly formed Roof Above combats homelessness by providing assistance, meals, and shelter. PUMC is renewing our financial partnership in 2023 with Crisis Assistance Ministry (CAM) to provide direct aid to persons experiencing a financial crisis with utilities or rent. There are an estimated 50,000 displaced or homeless young adults in the Charlotte area! On Ramp resource center hosted by The Relatives has a tremendous success rate in helping these young adults 17-24 years old make the successful evolution from displaced youth to being an independent adult. Through case management and structured support, the center empowers young adults to find employment, education and housing opportunities, ultimately leading to independence.
