Meet the Rev. Dr. Bill Jeffries

Bill is a longtime member of Providence UMC and has served as a pastor in other United Methodist churches over the years.

Bill is married to Terri, and together they have three adult children. One of his greatest joys is being a grandfather to his new grandson. Bill and Terri share their home with Jack, their beloved dog, who is in his 20s!

He enjoys staying active, especially through walking, and still enjoys playing some golf. He has also played tennis over the years. He is a member of Providence’s Men’s Fellowship and the larger Methodist fellowship as well.

Bill is a Vietnam veteran, and is involved in Providence UMC’s Friends and Families of Veterans. 

In his role as Providence UMC’s Senior Associate Pastor of Congregational Care, Bill’s primary focus is visitation. He loves staying connected with members of the Providence family, visiting with them, and hearing what’s happening in their lives. If you’d like a visit from Bill, just let him know!
