Meet the Rev. Teresa Dunn

Teresa is an ordained deacon in the Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. She graduated from Pfeiffer University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Christian Education and earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Pfeiffer in 2000.

She began serving at Providence in 1998 as Minister of Youth and College Students, a role she held for twenty years before answering a new call to serve the congregation as Minister of Discipleship.  In this role, she encourages people of all ages connect with Christ, grow in their faith, and discover meaningful ways to live out their calling within the church and the community.

Teresa and her husband, David, have two adult children. Their daughter, Chaselyn, is an elementary school teacher in Tampa, Florida, and their son, Seth, is a recent college graduate who lives and works in Charlotte. David retired from teaching after 30 years and now enjoys a second career in sales.
