The Contemporary Women Sunday School is holding a school supply drive in July. The supplies will be given to Families Forward Charlotte, a 501c3 nonprofit that partners with families in poverty to help them achieve economic stability. The families are referred by schools and community partners and they must commit to the program. The goal is to break the cycle of poverty. Families Forward Charlotte provides educational workshops to learn life skills, mentoring, goal-setting assistance, and periodic essential supplies - like school supplies.

The specific items needed are listed HERE. All items must be new.

There will be a collection bin near the Welcome Desk and another outside the Contemporary Women Sunday School classroom. Supplies are needed by July 31. If you prefer to write a check and let the Contemporary Women shop, make the check payable to Contemporary Women. In the Contemporary Women’s Sunday School Class, we study the Bible together, have fun through fellowship together, and have a passion for serving women and children of our community through mission. We want to share the light and our love with our mission, Families Forward.
