ATTIC SALE FOR MISSIONS - AUGUST 2026
Mark your calendar for the thirteenth Attic Sale for Missions! This favorite church tradition will continue to raise money for the local and global missions of Providence United Methodist Church. Below are three ways you can get involved:
SHOP.
Come shop the sale and bring your friends and neighbors. The sale dates and times are: Friday, August 28 from 9-1 and Saturday, August 29 from 8-12. Items for sale include furniture, rugs, sports equipment, lawn and garden, home decor, holiday decorations, kitchen goods, travel gear, pet gear, linens, books, crafts, office supplies, toys, and children’s clothing
DONATE.
We gratefully accept donations from the community as well as from our congregation. All donations should be brought to the lower-level Mission Center on the northwest side of the building; look for signage. The collection period is Thursday, August 13 through Monday, August 24. The donation site will provide volunteer assistance during the following hours:
Mondays-Fridays August 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturdays August 15 and 22: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sundays August 16 and 23: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

VOLUNTEER.
Volunteers are needed in many capacities over the two-week period of August 13-29. Volunteers must be members of Providence UMC or must be individually sponsored by a member of Providence UMC and will be verified against a church roster for security purposes. There will be opportunities for “every age and stage.” Volunteer opportunities will include:
Set up shelving and directional signage
Accept, organize, and price items
Greet and direct shoppers
Work as a cashier, bagger, or holding area attendant
Greet and welcome members of the community to the sale
